SENIOR EXPERIMENTAL TEST PILOT / EXPERIMENTAL TEST PILOT (MULTIPLE POSITIONS)

XP Services, Inc. is seeking experienced Experimental Test Pilots to support the development, certification, and operational transition of a high-performance turboprop aircraft program.

The successful candidate will join a small, highly experienced team conducting developmental flight testing, systems evaluation, certification activities, and aircraft integration efforts. The program includes ongoing flight test operations overseas and the eventual FAA certification of the aircraft in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct developmental and certification flight testing
  • Develop test plans, test cards, risk assessments, and flight test reports
  • Support envelope expansion, systems evaluation, and performance testing
  • Work directly with engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Support certification activities with regulatory authorities
  • Provide technical leadership within a multidisciplinary flight test organization

Qualifications

  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating
  • Current FAA First or Second Class Medical
  • Minimum 2,500 hours total flight time
  • Developmental, experimental, military, certification, or OEM flight test experience
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills

Desired Experience

  • Military or civilian Test Pilot School graduate
  • FAA certification flight test experience
  • Part 23, Part 25, Restricted Category, or military derivative aircraft certification experience
  • Turboprop aircraft flight test experience
  • Active or previously held security clearance

Travel

Significant domestic and international travel is required. Initial assignments are expected to involve extended overseas deployments during the developmental and certification phases of the program.
