International F-16 Instructor Pilot
F-16 Contract Instructor Pilot (IP) SME assigned to the Iraq Advanced Pilot Training (IAPT) program. Instructs newly trained Iraqi Air Force (IqAF) F-16 pilots in USAF authorized Tactics, Techniques and Procedures through USAF defined Continuation Training (CT) to enable IqAF to achieve and maintain F-16 Combat Mission Ready (CMR) status. Flying responsibilities will be performed in F-16s belonging to the IqAF in Tucson AZ and Iraq. Contract IPs will induct current and qualified IqAF F-16 pilots into IAPT. Contract IPs will develop curricula and training content, will perform airborne instruction in single and dual seat F-16 aircraft with Iraqi Mission Pilots (MP), will perform airborne training mission support, will operate and instruct simulator missions defined in IAPT CT syllabi, will perform classroom platform and table top instruction, will determine mission pilot proficiency and will report on MP progress and develop new teaching methods. Contract IPs will perform each category of training for IAPT MPs and will also lead Iraqi candidates through Flight Leader Upgrade and Instructor Pilot Upgrade programs. Contract IPs will operate F-16 aircraft in accordance with most restrictive applicable regulations, provided by the USAF, IqAF, and program/corporate policies and procedures. Highest emphasis will be placed on flight crewmembers safety and customer service. Contract IPs are responsible for training in all F-16 pilot related subjects such as aircraft systems, operating procedures, handling emergencies, problem analysis, aircraft navigation, radio operation and aerodynamics and special procedures relating to conduct of operational employment. Contract IPs will develop and amend program as required based on customer requirements and will serve as Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company international training experts to provide guidance on establishing training additional international training programs. Flying operations are currently conducted at Tucson ANG Base and in Balad Iraq. Contract IPs are expected to deploy long term or perform short term rotations to Iraq. Current rotation posture and options will be discussed during the interview. Permanent relocation options to Tucson will also be discussed during the interview.
