Are you an excellent communicator, with the ability to inspire and motivate? Do you excel in teaching? Do have a post graduate degree in an Aeronautical engineering subject or Control Engineering? Do you hold a recognised teaching qualification, with at least 4 years’ experience? If you answer yes to all of these questions, then we want to hear from you.
We are looking for academic instructors to train the next generation of Test Pilots and Flight Test Engineers.
The Empire Test Pilots’ School was established over 70 years ago to train the best Test Pilots and Flight Test Engineers; that is still our goal today. Our motto Learn to Test, Test to Learn is at the heart of our teaching; we aim to teach experienced pilots and aerospace engineers, from around the world, the philosophy and skills required to undertake all forms of research and development test flying, to become qualified Test Pilots and Flight Test Engineers.
We are looking for Fixed Wing and Rotary Wing Academic instructors to provide our students with the underpinning theoretical knowledge to conduct experimental flight test on the latest airborne platforms. You will work within a delivery team of both civilian and military instructors with experience and knowledge in flight test gained from the real world testing of current military systems.
Based in Wiltshire there are opportunities for both full or part time instructional roles on a 12 month Fixed Term contract basis with the future possibility of extension
